KARACHI:

The 19-year-old online property dealer, Mujtaba Ali, kidnapped on Tuesday night, reached home on Thursday.

The complainant, Mujtaba's mother, Amina Ali, told the Site Superhighway police station duty officer that her son has come home safely, but she refused to share any details and switched off her mobile, the officer told The Express Tribune.

The investigation officer said they don't know if the hostage was released against a ransom or there was some other reason for the kidnapping.

Amina Ali had filed an FIR at the Site Superhighway police station between Tuesday and Wednesday, stating that her son had posted an ad about her plot in Gulshan-e-Maymar on an online portal.

A man, Kamran Pasha, came to her house in North Nazimabad and offered to buy her plot in Maymar. Kamran asked them to accompany him to his home where he will make an advance payment and also sign the papers. Amina, Mujtaba and his friend went with Kamran. However, when they reached Jamali Pul near Superhighway, Kamran put a pistol to Mujtaba's head and told his mother and the friend to get off the car.

She went to the police station and filed the complaint.
