A few days ago in Abbottabad, a woman and her four children died of suffocation while her husband was in critical condition at the Ayub Medical Complex, Abbottabad.

The incident occurred when the family, grappling with load shedding, resorted to using a gas heater in their room, said the police, adding that gas leakage ensued, leading to the fatal accumulation of gas in the room.

The deceased included 26-year-old Shamim Bibi and five-year-old Varmaisha.
