The Hyderabad Develop-ment Authority (HDA) has issued final notices to 10 defaulter housing schemes warning them of legal action in case of non-payment of dues within seven days.
The said housing schemes had given post-dated cheques (PDCs) in terms of external development charges (EDC) and others heads, which bounced.
These housing schemes include three in Latifabad, one in Qasimabad, two in Taluka City and four in Hyderabad rural.
The authority concerned contacted the builders/sponsors of the schemes several times but they gave no response.

On the other hand, HDA is also unable to pay four to five-month salaries to its hundreds of employees due to financial crisis.
According to HDA, the defaulter housing schemes include Raim Industrial Zone Housing, Gulshan Noor Residency, Meadow View Homes, Perfect Dream Housing, Gulshan-e- Fatima, Pama Residency, Mughal City, Noor Enclave and Rehman Residency.
It has been further said in the announcement that final notices have been issued to the said defaulting housing schemes, giving them seven days to pay the outstanding dues otherwise legal action would be taken against them, including filing of FIR.
