The accused used to smuggle drugs from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, store them in the said house and later supply them to other districts of Punjab. The total quantity of drugs exported is one metric tonne. Officials said the male and female accused were staying in a rented house in Kot Momin under the guise of a family.

They said using women for such purposes is against moral, social and family traditions. Economic exploitation destroys the lives of women involved in crime.
