Police received information that illegal Afghans were working at a brick kiln in Bajwa. Police arrested 45 illegal Afghans were working at the kiln, whose owner and manager had put them to work.
Pasrur police arrested all of the Afghans during the raid. They asked the owners and the Afghans for legal documents to stay in Pakistan, permits and visas. The owners and Afghan citizens could not provide any proof of residence in Pakistan and they were all taken into custody by police and shifted to the Sialkot Hockey Stadium camp.

The owner of the kiln, Arshad, said that accountant Tanzib had brought the illegal Afghans to the facility. Pasrur police arrested the owner of the kiln.
Last month, the government began rounding up undocumented foreigners, most of them illegal Afghans refugees, in all parts of the country after a midnight deadline for them to leave the country expired.
The removal of the people to temporary holding centres began a day earlier than previously announced.
