KOHAT:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf organized a workers’ convention in Kohat on Sunday, marked by a game of cat and mouse between PTI supporters and the police from early morning until evening.

Despite police check posts causing obstacles for motorcades from rural and adjacent districts, the party’s Senior Vice President, Sher Afzal Marwat, successfully reached Janana Football Ground in Kohat to address the enthusiastic party workers.

Workers, undeterred by challenges, patiently awaited Sher Afzal Marwat’s arrival, who reached the venue on a motorbike in the afternoon.

Notable figures like former governor Shah Farman, district president Aftab Alam, Naseem Afridi, Imtiaz Qureshi, Shafiullah Jan, and Daud Afridi addressed the convention.

During his address, Sher Afzal Marwat emphasized the fearlessness of PTI workers, asserting that they cannot be intimidated by fake FIRs and cases.

He defended Imran Khan against accusations of treason, stating, “Imran Khan is not a traitor”.
