IMME wins project contest
A team of the Punjab University Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering (IMME) has won a project competition organised at the MNS University of Agriculture for promoting ‘agri-preneurship’.
Among over 500 projects from across Pakistan, two were shortlisted from the PU and one of them belonged to the IMME. The project was led by Assistant Professor Dr Muhammad Atif.
A research team including a student presented the project titled ‘Spectral splitting agri-voltaics for indoor farming, which secured the first position in the special projects category.
