Woman held for ‘killing’ her husband

Body found in house, says police

PAKPATTAN:

Qubla police arrested a woman on the charges of killing her husband along with her sister and burying the body in the house.

Mubarak Ali, a 62-year-old retired schoolteacher, a resident of Lakkad Mandi area in the jurisdiction of Qubla Police Station, was strangled allegedly by his wife, Naheed, along with her sister, Sudra, three months ago, and the body was buried in their house, police claimed.

Abdul Aziz, a student and friend of the deceased, had registered a complaint with the police about Mubarak Ali having gone missing.
