‘GDA to form government in Sindh’

HYDERABAD:

Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh leader Liaquat Ali Jatoi, along with his associates joined the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) during a public meeting in Mehar, Dadu district, on Thursday.

In the presence of GDA leaders including Safdar Abbassi, Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi, and Syed Zain Shah, Jatoi hoisted the GDA flag at his residence, Jatoi House in Beto Jatoi, confirming his new political affiliation.

Having previously been associated with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and PML-Quaid (PML-Q), Jatoi, a former federal minister and Sindh chief minister, expressed determination to connect with the people of Sindh and vowed forming the next provincial government.

"The people of Sindh have grown weary of PPP's governance and corruption over the last 15 years," said Jatoi, expressing confidence that GDA would secure victory in the February 8, 2024, elections.
