A young man, Wajahat Nadeem, who was forcefully abducted three days ago near Jut Lines Hussaini Imambargah in the Brigade area, safely returned home at night. Four unidentified suspects in a Mehran-colored car kidnapped Wajahat at gunpoint near Brigade Police Station on December 3. The abductors demanded a ransom of 50,000 US digital currency (Bitcoin) or 15 million Pakistani rupees via WhatsApp, along with a video showing the shirtless and blindfolded victim being tortured.

Kidnapped men freed

The investigation was later transferred to the AVCC on Tuesday. The abducted youth, according to his family, was left near Mehran University in Jamshoro by the kidnappers, who then fled.
