A drive by the Karachi Traffic Police against violators involving snap checking on busy roads is hindering smooth flow of traffic, much to the chagrin of commuters.
As per details, thousands of tickets are issued to violators on a daily basis in the metropolitan city. Moreover, drivers and motorcyclists also allege that traffic police take bribe.
According to commuters, traffic cops deployed in various parts of the city, particularly under the flyovers near National Stadium and Qayyoomabad roundabout, seem focusing more on apprehending motorcyclists and small loading vans instead of ensuring the swift flow of the traffic.
