KARACHI:

Pakistan Peopels Party (PPP) leader Sharjeel Inam Memon said on Sunday that PPP holds no ill-will towards any political party including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

However, PML-N considers Lahore to be whole of Pakistan and its leaders showcase only development works of Lahore, he said addressing a press conference at Bilawal House.

Sharjeel said that PPP is not a party of any particular region but of the whole Pakistan. PPP will fight and win elections as single largest party and achieve a historic victory on February 8.

"No one will be allowed to rig the elections. If anyone tries to rig the elections, PPP will strongly resist it," he said. Sharjeel stressed the need for all political parties and the state institutions to sit together for a stronger Pakistan.

He said people of Pakistan were fed up with the politics of confrontation. At the same time, however, he asked former prime minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif to list a single hospital the PML-N government had built so far. "Why not compete with the PPP government in the health sector," he challenged Nawaz.
