Announces schedule for parliamentary board meetings across provinces, divisions

ISLAMABAD:

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Friday entered a crucial phase in its preparations for the upcoming general elections, announcing the schedule for parliamentary board meetings aimed at selecting candidates for national, provincial, and specific seats.

The schedule, released by the party's central information secretary Marriyum Aurangzeb, outlines a series of crucial meetings set to take place across various divisions and provinces.

The inaugural parliamentary board meeting is slated for Saturday (today) to deliberate on the party ticket from the Sargodha division.

On December 3, the focus will shift to the decision-making process for PML-N candidates in Rawalpindi division. Following this, the party will convene on December 6 to finalise candidates in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Hazara and Malakand divisions.

In the succession of meetings, the allocation of party tickets for various provinces and divisions will be decided.
Notably, Balochistan's candidates will be deliberated upon on December 7, Bahawalpur, and Dera Ghazi Khan divisions on December 8, and Multan division's candidates on December 9.

The sequence will continue, culminating with the meeting regarding the federal capital, Islamabad, and specific seats on December 18.

The rigorous schedule also includes sessions to determine candidates for remaining constituencies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) on December 19 and the distribution of party tickets in the Lahore City division on December 15.

The critical decision-making for PML-N candidates in Sindh province will take place on December 16, signifying a meticulous approach in outlining the party's potential candidates across the nation.
