On the second day of the four-day 16th World Urdu Conference 2023 organized by the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, a session was held regarding "Urdu Ki Nai Bastian" (Europe) which was moderated by Akram Qaimkhani.
Mah Jabeen Ghazal Ansari from Yorkshire and Shehbaz Khawaja from London were among the participants. Ansari, the chairperson of Yorkshire Adabi Forum, urged the expats to communicate with their children in their mother tongues. Shahbaz Khawaja said children living abroad usually disconnect with their parents' language.
