Commissioner Peshawar Division, Muhammad Zubair, has directed the timely opening of the Hayatabad Jogging and Cycle Track to the public by the end of this month. These directives were issued during his inspection of the track in Hayatabad on Friday.
The construction of the six-kilometer Hayatabad Jogging and Cycle Track, under the Peshawar Uplift Programme Phase-II, aims not only to promote healthy activities but also to provide a recreational facility for the community. Commissioner Zubair expressed satisfaction with the ongoing construction work and urged an accelerated pace to ensure completion by the end of the month, making it accessible to the general public.
In addition to emphasizing the importance of maintaining traffic flow during construction, he instructed the team to address public concerns effectively. The modern track, situated at the convergence of the Hayatabad Stream, is set to be finalized by month-end.
