RAWALPINDI:

The security forces on Sunday killed eight terrorists while conducting an intelligence based operation in Sararogha area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s South Waziristan district.

According to the military’s media wing, an intense fire exchange took place between the troops and terrorists during the operation, which was carried out after receiving information about their presence.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) added that the slain terrorists were involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as innocent civilians.
