Two killed in Bajaur bomb blasts

BAJAUR:

Two individuals were killed and three others injured in two separate bomb blasts in Bajaur tribal district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) on Wednesday. Police told The Express Tribune that in the troubled Dama Dola area of Tehsil Mamond, the father of ex-amir of Ansarul Islam, Sattan Khan, was killed and three people were injured.

 “Sattar Khan is the son of Maulana Abdul Salam who was the head of Ansarul Islam and who was killed some time ago in a firing incident by unidentified terrorists,” said a police official.

In a tragic incident earlier today, Sabz Ali Khan, a local resident, lost his life when his vehicle fell victim to an IED attack in Khar, Bajaur. The targeted explosion resulted in his immediate demise, and the vehicle was obliterated, sending shockwaves through the area. The blast’s impact reverberated for miles, triggering widespread panic in the vicinity.
