Two soldiers martyred in North Waziristan IED explosion

RAWALPINDI:

At least two Pakistan Army soldiers embraced martyrdom during an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded on a convoy of security forces in North Waziristan district, the military said in a statement.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), resident of district Karak 33-year-old Lance Naik Ehsan Badshah and resident of district Kurram 30-year-old Lance Naik Sajid Hussain were martyred in Razmak area of the district.

The statement said that a sanitisation operation is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists present in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
