Incarcerated PTI President and former Punjab chief minister Parvez Elahi on Tuesday vowed that they would contest the upcoming general elections under the cricket bat symbol, hoping that all those who had left the party would rejoin it.
In an informal discussion with the media at the anti-terrorism court, Elahi expressed the resolve that people would vote for the PTI in the upcoming polls. He urged the chief election commissioner to “give them their right and allow taking out rallies”.
He held the Sharifs responsible for the current inflation, alleging that they were seeking votes through administrative resources. Elahi said they would contest the upcoming polls under the bat symbol, hoping that all those who had left the party return to it.
