KARACHI. Police have registered the murder case of the woman whose body was found dumped in a drum at a vacant plot in DHA Phase VII Extension on the complaint of her husband. Munir Hussain in an FIR filed at the Defence police station stated that he lives in Bahawalpur and works as a mason. Hussain said that his wife, Wazir Mai alias Hasina, 36, worked at a bungalow in DHA.
She used to come to Bahawalpur from Karachi to meet the children after three to four months. “She would talk to us on her mobile every evening,” Hussain stated. However, a week ago, her mobile phone stopped answering, it was switched off.
On November 18, Hussain said, he got a call from the Defence police station that Hasina was at Jinnah Hospital. On receiving the information, he reached Karachi on Monday, November 20. He alleged that his wife was killed by Hazratullah and Sohaib Hayat, with whom she shared the house in Sector B Qayyumabad.
