Assailants riding a motorcycle opened fire on constables

BANNU:

In a tragic incident on Sunday, unidentified terrorists ambushed two constables of the Ababeel Squad on Mandan Road in Bannu district, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in the death of Constable Iqrarullah and critical injuries to Constable Shafiur Rehman.

A policeman told The Express Tribune the assailants, riding a motorcycle, opened fire on the constables before swiftly escaping the scene. Despite immediate medical attention at the DHQ in Bannu, Constable Shafiur Rehman’s condition remains critical, prompting his referral to Peshawar for advanced treatment.
