The apex court has scheduled a hearing to address objections raised by its registrar office against a petition seeking a restraining order on the forced deportation of Afghan citizens.
Justice Yahya Afridi is set to review the appeal in his chamber on November 20.
In a press statement is- sued by the petitioner on Saturday, it was announced that after an “eager wait” of 18 days, the SC had decided to hear the objections raised to their plea. The statement emphasized the responsibility outlined in Article 184(3), underscoring the SC’s crucial role in preventing systemic violations of fundamental rights.
