One killed in attack on oil, gas firm in DI Khan

At least one person was killed, and multiple others injured in an attack on an oil and gas company in the Darazinda area of Dera Ismail Khan, on Monday.

This was the second attack in seven days as last week on Tuesday two police officials were martyred and three others injured when unidentified perpetrators attacked the camp of a private oil and gas drilling company in Dera Ismail Khan.

The martyred policemen were identified as Arif and Ali, while the injured as ASI Alam Sher, Fazl Shah, and Attaur Rehman.

The injured were shifted to a hospital, with one of them in critical condition.

DSP Asghar Ali Shah said the perpetrators targeted the police personnel stationed at the camp of Alhaj Oil and Gas Private Drilling Company.

Law enforcement authorities cordoned the area and initiated search for the unidentified attackers.
