Two welders killed in accidental explosion

Two men were killed in an explosion resulting from the inadvertent filling of gas into a fuel tank during welding on a pickup truck near Yusuf Goth bus terminal in Baldia Town on Saturday.
SHO Mochko police station Syed Adnan stated that the tragedy occurred when two men were carrying out some welding work on a Mazda truck in an empty plot near bus terminal.
The bodies of the victims, identified as 40-year-old Bilal and 18-year-old Ali, were shifted to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem. They were employees of a welding workshop.
According to preliminary investigations, the explosion took place during the fuel tank filling process.
The owner of the welding workshop is missing after the tragedy happened, and there is no information about the truck owner who could shed light on the purpose behind installing the fuel tank on his vehicle.
Police have seized the truck and are gathering more information about both the workshop owner and the truck's owner to clarify the situation.
SHO Adnan said that the victims were the residents of the nearby area.
