Anushka, adorned in a stylish black schiffli short dress with balloon sleeves, showcased a noticeable baby bump, prompting fans to believe that the couple is gearing up to welcome their second child.

The couple first sparked rumours of a potential pregnancy in early October. Reports from Indian media surfaced suggesting that the actor might be expecting her second child with her husband and cricketing superstar. Sources, such as Hindustan Times, broke the alleged news. Reports indicated that she may be in her second trimester, and a formal announcement was anticipated in due course.

Furthermore, Anushka's recent absence from public appearances and her discretion regarding her whereabouts further fueled speculation. As per the Hindustan Times' source, the couple was reportedly spotted at a maternity clinic in Mumbai, with requests to the paparazzi for privacy and an implicit promise to make an announcement when they are ready. The source revealed, “They requested the paparazzi to not publish their pictures, with a promise to make an announcement soon.”

The Bollywood star and acclaimed cricketer exchanged vows on December 11, 2017, culminating in a few years of courtship. Opting for an intimate affair, the wedding took place in Italy and was attended exclusively by close family members and a select group of friends.

The couple embraced parenthood with the arrival of their first child, a baby girl named Vamika, born on January 11, 2021.
