Created under the vision of the talented filmmaker Karan Johar, the video serves as a heartfelt tribute to the 25 years of cinematic magic that Kuch Kuch Hota Hai has brought to audiences worldwide. Speaking about the film's significance, ANI News reported that Johar expressed his sentiments, emphasising the special place Kuch Kuch Hota Hai holds in his heart. He reminisced about the creation of the original song, acknowledging the overwhelming love it continues to receive even after all these years. Johar expressed his admiration for B Praak and Jaani's rendition, foreseeing a similar love from the audiences.

B Praak, the voice behind the reimagined track, shared his excitement, referring to Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Ayee-2 as his tribute to the everlasting legacy of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. His aim was to preserve the essence of the classic while igniting the same enthusiasm in audiences as he felt during its creation.
