KARACHI:

The Express Tribune and Unilever have signed an agreement for a podcast series where successful women from different walks of life will participate. These women have achieved success after tackling all difficulties and hurdles and have proved that there is no loss or difficulty that cannot be overcome.

The signing ceremony for the memorandum of understanding (MoU) was held at the Unilever head office in Karachi on Wednesday. Unilever Product Hair Care Director of Marketing Shaikh Adil Hussain and Express Publications Executive Director of Marketing and Sales Azfar Mahmud Nizami inked the MoU.

Dove Brand Manager Humza Mahfooz, Assistant Brand Manager Zoha Manzar, Media Partner Hair Care Mohammad Ali Jakhura and Express Publications Associate Director Marketing Kamran Ahmed and Senior Manager Marketing Express Romina Ali were also present at the event.

According to the agreement, The Express Tribune and Dove will present a podcast series of the successful women who have achieved a high place in society after coping with all difficulties that came in their way, which will definitely have an impact on the viewers and listeners. Talking to The Express Tribune, Shaikh Adil Hussain said that the aim of the podcast was to highlight the examples of women who encountered some difficulty but fought it with determination.

Like the way Dove prevents and repairs hair fall, the podcast will set an example for those who come across some hurdle in their lives, he said. Humza Mahfooz remarked “why should we restrict damage control to hair fall; damages are faced in real life as well; like the way Dove controls hair damage, the podcast will also come to fore the successful efforts aimed at offsetting the damages caused in the life”.

Zoha Manzar revealed that the title of the podcast would be “No damage beyond repair”. She said the podcast would encourage those women that were facing obstacles at some stage in their journey.

The podcast series on this unique subject will be presented soon.
