Irfan Junejo fundraises PKR5.37 million for Palestine with fans

YouTuber donated the amount to an organisation collecting donations

Ace YouTuber Irfan Junejo posted about a fundraiser for Palestine on October 21st, letting his followers know that all the money that would be collected would go towards helping the population constantly facing Israeli cruelty and violence. Yesterday, Junejo took to his Instagram Stories to share that the fundraiser was closed, given that a staggering amount of PKR5 million had been raised.

He documented his journey of heading to the bank to make a pay order, which he was unable to do. He eventually wrote a cheque and handed over the amount to an organisation collecting donations. AlKhidmat Foundation also took to their own Instagram to thank Junejo for the same. 

Sharing an image of the YouTuber, they wrote, "Famous Vlogger and blogger Irfan Junejo, along with his dedicated fans, raised PKR5.37 million for Palestine-Gaza Relief and contributed the donation to Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan." Junejo took to his Instagram Story to acknowledge the same, stating that most of the amount was raised by his followers.

Many influential figures in Pakistan are doing all that they can to help the people of Palestine. Junejo joins the likes of Atif Aslam in his heartwarming gesture. Aslam stepped forward to make a substantial contribution of PKR15 million towards essential medical and food aid for Gaza, Palestine. The singer's benevolent donation was also acknowledged with deep gratitude by the same organisation to which he donated.

Taking to Instagram, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan shared a post featuring the talented star, expressing their profound appreciation for his altruistic gesture. The post read, "Deep gratitude to the esteemed Atif Aslam for his generous contribution of 15 million PKR towards essential medical and food aid for Gaza, Palestine during these trying times. We humbly request your support for the Alkhidmat Gaza Fund."

These contributions are not only a testament to compassion but also a shining example of how influential figures can make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. These generous donations are expected to provide crucial assistance in the form of medical aid and food supplies to the people of Palestine, who are facing genocide with health, food, water, and medical issues as well. This would, of course, depend on the situation pertaining to the opening of borders as well, and how much aid is allowed in.

Other celebrities, like Osman Khalid Butt, Hasan Raheem and Ushna Shah have constantly been vocal about what's happening in Palestine, becoming a voice for the many Palestinians who are on the receiving end of Israel's mindless brutality.
