HYDERABAD:

The Model Criminal Trial Court in Dadu district, which was scheduled to hear on Saturday testimony of a witness of the January 2018 triple murder case against the former MPAs, adjourned the hearing after the witness fainted during his cross-examination.

The witness, Manzoor Chandio was being quizzed by advocate Athar Abbass, representing the defendants former MPAs Nawab Sardar Khan Chandio, his brother Nawabzada Burhan Chandio and others, when he fell unconscious in the courtroom.

Both the former MPAs, who are on bail, appeared in the court while Dadu district police also produced arrested accused Zulfiqar Chandio, Ali Gohar Chandio, Murtaza Chandio and Sikandar Chandio before the judge.

The lawyer Umme Rubab Chadio, daughter of slain Mukhtiar Chandio whose father Raees Karamullah Chandio and brother Kamil Chandio were also killed in the same incident, blamed the two MPAs for harassing the witnesses.
