The two-day Pakistan Literature Festival 2023 (Sukkur Chapter) will open at IBA Sukkur Campus Academic Block Auditorium on Saturday (today).
CM Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqar will inaugurate the festival, while the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, President Ahmad Shah will deliver the welcome address.
Dr Jafar Ahmed and Naseer Memon will present the keynote papers.
IBA Sukkur Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Asif Ahmed Sheikh, Arts Council Sukkur President Mumtaz Bukhari, Sukkur Mayor Barrister Arslan Islam Sheikh, Qazi Abdul Wahid will be in attendance while Dr Ayub Sheikh and Dr Huma Mir will moderate the sessions.
Sukkur Mayor Barrister Arslan Shaikh has said that people of Sukkur and its surrounding areas would enjoy literary discussions.
