Khairpur Civil Hospital in disarray

Caretaker Chief Minister Justice (Retd) Maqbool Baqar took disciplinary action against the top officials of the Civil Hospital Khairpur on Wednesday following similar action taken in Sukkur district the other day.

“Where the hospital’s annual budget of Rs430 million is spent?” Baqar questioned.

“Instead of providing quality healthcare to the people, you are destroying this facility.”

He later transferred the medical superintendent of the civil hospital and suspended its director finance.
