Pakistani celebrities are standing firm with Palestine. As Israeli aggression continues to escalate, our stars are utilising their platforms to amplify stories coming out of Palestine and call for an end to the Israeli occupation. Taking to her Instagram feed, Mahira Khan shared a carousel post of videos and images that displayed the extent of destruction in Palestine.

The star penned alongside, "This is the genocide of Palestinian people. This is the killing of innocent human beings - men, women and children (majority children). History will remember those who had the power to make a difference and didn’t, those who could bring an end to this and remained quiet...They will always have blood on their hands. Praying every moment with a broken heart."

Ayesha Omar took to her Instagram to share an image of Palestinian children, covered in dust, standing in front of the havoc wreaked by Israeli attacks. "Hoping and praying for an immediate ceasefire," wrote the actor. "May Allah ease the pain and suffering of all the innocent lives, especially children, in Gaza. May the truth always win. May Allah bless the souls of the ones who have lost their lives in this genocide. Ameen."

Nadia Jamil did not hold back when it came to her Instagram post. Sharing a bird's eye view of the destruction, the actor said, "I stand with Palestine. I stand with Gaza. I am against the Holocaust of Palestine by the terrorist state of Israel. Since 1948 to now, everything Israel has done to the people of Palestine and their land has been wrong and unjustified."

She continued, "Shame on the government of the USA for funding this Holocaust. Shame on the royalty of [Saudi Arabia] for its diplomatic game at a time like this and shame on the government of the UK for standing with Israel. Shame on the government of Pakistan for its embarrassingly timid silence. And respect for the millions of people standing on the humane side of history."

Armeena Khan and Ushna Shah, both of whom have been extremely vocal about their support for Palestine, had a small exchange on X pertaining to the same. Using the hashtag, 'Gaza genocide,' Armeena stated, "Please let the children go. Your fight is with Hamas, please let the children go. I beg you. Let them get to safety, this is just too much. This is now revenge on little helpless babies and children. Let them go!" To this, Ushna replied, "Their fight is with the children, sis. They’ve never shied from admitting that they want to annihilate Arabs from the region and end their generations. This isn’t the first time they’ve targeted children either."

She went on to highlight, "With their surveillance, they would've seen a militant movement coming from miles away. Many settlers at the scene have admitted that the IDF was also shooting their own civilians, which shouldn’t be surprising (check Hanibal directive). This set-up was a well-planned and perfectly executed act of ethnic cleansing. Pleading for their mercy is futile. They don’t see Falasteeni children as humans but as pests."

Ushna also took to her own X account to voice her support for the cause, relentlessly highlighting various aspects of Israel's "propaganda" which, as per her post, "is windex-level transparent." She further said, "The memo sent to all celebrities and politicians today was to push horror stories of what Hamas did (without tangible evidence), along with the 'if you don't agree with us, you're anti-Semitic' narrative. They don't even try to make the narrative release seem organic. They need better PR."

Continuing on, she expressed disappointment at all those "swallowing" the narrative "whole." The star stated, "This isn't just causing a divide; it's stoking the fires of Islamophobia and fueling a surge in hate crimes." The actor also rallied her followers to boycott select products. "Talking, tweeting and marching isn’t working, time for action. Boycott the following brands and treat them like poison. I’ll post more as verifications come but so far this is the confirmed BDS list. Don’t buy from them and boycott any celebrity who endorses them," she said, sharing an image of brands to boycott.
