PESHAWAR:

Building Control Authority (BCA) teams in Peshawar took action on Monday by sealing 40 illegal cobbler shops in the Thanda Khoi area following numerous complaints about the disturbances caused by these shoemakers operating within the city's residential zones.

The district administration reported that these cobblers had unlawfully established their shops in the residential Thanda Khoi area, with some even utilizing homes and basements for their businesses.

This unauthorized activity had been causing inconveniences to the local residents, leading the capital city’s metropolitan administration to issue warnings to these businesses.

In response to the situation, BCA teams initiated a crackdown on these illegal shops, leading to the sealing of 40 of them during the operation.
