Murder Attempt: Alleged kari’s life in danger

SUKKUR: A woman from the Ghotki district was sentenced to death by a jirga by Asghar Malik, a landlord and Lal Khan on Thursday, on the appeal of her husband. Armed men attempted to kill her in her home at night. The woman took shelter in her brother’s house in Sukkur. The police have registered a case against her husband but did not nominate the landlords in the FIR.
