Actor Sarah Khan took to Instagram to share a story, updating fans on her recent health scare. The Sabaat star said she is now back at home and appreciated fans for their show of love and concern.
“During a time like this we realize how much our fans and friends really mean to us. Can’t thank you all enough for all the love and prayers! I’m home and a lot better now,” Khan wrote on her Instagram story.
Giving a tender shout-out to singer and husband, Falak Shabir, she said, “Who needs a doctor when you have a husband like Falak Shabir.”
The 31-year-old raised concern among fans when Shabir recently shared an Instagram story with a worrisome picture of Khan, prepped and about to undergo a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedure. “Need prayers,” wrote the singer in the overlay text. Fans flocked to express their concern about the actor's health, offering heartfelt comments and wishes for a swift recovery.
The couple did not disclose any details on Khan’s medical condition, characteristic of their social media presence that frequently includes snippets of intimate life without compromising their privacy.
In 2021, Shabir similarly revealed that Khan was hospitalised without sharing any details on her ailment. The singer made the announcement via his Instagram stories with a picture of the TV artist lying in a hospital bed, connected to medical monitors and IVs. “She is unwell,” shared the Akhiyan artist.
Shortly thereafter, several of Khan's peers, including her then co-star, Imran Ashraf, from the drama Raqs-e-Bismil, and the film star Resham voiced their concerns and extended well wishes for her health. Nodding at the severity of the Covid-19 pandemic, fans asked the couple to take the necessary precautionary measures and practise isolation.
