WhatsApp has introduced a passwordless passkey feature for all Android users.
Previously, WhatsApp asked users for two-factor authentication for security reasons. Post the update, WhatsApp now allows users to use their device’s face, fingerprint, or pin security to unlock and access their accounts.
WhatsApp has been testing the feature in its beta channel. It's now making it available to a wider audience. As of now, there is no update regarding a similar feature for iOS.
