Mahira Khan recently celebrated her wedding with businessman Salim Karim, and the festivities at Bhurban, Pakistan, were nothing short of grandeur. Among the many highlights was a pre-wedding musical night or sangeet where the legendary Pakistani singer, Abida Parveen, mesmerized the audience with her soulful performance. Mahira graciously shared a snippet of this enchanting evening, where she and Salim were seen enjoying the tunes as Abida graced the stage.
In the video, Mahira looked ethereal in an embellished lehenga, dancing and swaying to the beautiful music alongside Salim and their close-knit group of family and friends. However, stealing the limelight was the presence of renowned Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. The Legend of Maula Jatt star adorned a white kurta set paired with a brown shawl. He sat amongst the other guests, appreciating Abida's soul-stirring performance of Tu Jhoom.
The outdoor venue, illuminated by the warm glow of hundreds of candles, provided the perfect ambiance for the musical night. Mahira and Salim made their entrance hand-in-hand, greeted by cheers and warm wishes from the gathered guests. Fawad made a brief appearance in the video, catching a glimpse of the couple as they walked in.
Mahira Khan took to social media to share her reverence for Abida, expressing her profound love and respect for the legendary singer. Fans were quick to spot Fawad in the video, sparking excitement and admiration for his graceful presence during the celebration. "No way! Fawad was there," an excited fan commented. "I just noticed Fawad Khan in the most beautiful pose ever and I have melted like how," added another. "I only see Fawad," more chimed in.
"That piercing stare from Fawad Khan sitting in the crowd is just gold. Mahira is a stranger yet I didn't know I could feel this happy for a stranger. Wishing her all of the best in life," a fan emotionally commented. As the festivities unfolded, it was evident that this union marked a beautiful beginning for Mahira and Salim.
Meanwhile, Mahira and Fawad, who recently shared the screen in The Legend of Maula Jatt, are set to reunite in Netflix's much-anticipated Pakistan-themed original, Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo.
