KARACHI:

Former President Asif Ali Zardari has underscored his duty to serve the people when entrusted with the opportunity. He expressed deep pride in bearing this responsibility and reaffirmed that this sense of duty drives every accomplishment, ongoing effort, and future undertaking of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

These statements were delivered during his speech at a dinner held in his honour at the residence of his close friend Ghulam Qadir Muree in the Darya Khan Muree village on Tuesday night. Speaking in Sindhi, Asif Ali Zardari emphasized the shared experiences and challenges that have bound him to the attendees.

He said, “We have been privileged to serve you and this nation.

There’s no need for thanks, as this nation belongs to us all. I will live and, ultimately, find my rest in this country. It’s a matter of great pride for me to fulfill my duty in serving this nation.”
