CAA to build new runways at Karachi airport

Both the runways at the airport, 25 Right and 7 Left, will be reconstructed

KARACHI:

The country’s aviation authority has decided to construct state-of-the-art runways at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport and has invited tenders in this regard.

Both the runways at the airport, 25 Right and 7 Left, will be reconstructed.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has in- vited eligible companies to participate in the construc- tion of the primary and secondary runways.
According to an ad- vertisement published

 in newspapers, all local and foreign companies involved in relevant work must have experience, expertise, and financial capabilities.
