KARACHI:

The An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has granted bail to PTI leaders Haleem Adil Sheikh and Raja Azhar in a case related to rioting and arson within the limits of Ferozabad police station on May 9.

The ATC granted their bail pleas against surety bonds of Rs100,000 each. The court also upheld the interim bail of PTI leader Khurram Sher Zaman before adjourning the hearing until October 23.

Meanwhile, PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh has said on oath that he has been a dedicated member of the party's core committee for many years and at no point the party chairman incited his workers to attack any institutions, nor were they ever involved in any conspiracy to obstruct the appointment of the current army chief.

Haleem made these remarks while speaking to the media after he appeared in the Malir court for a hearing. He was holding a copy of the Holy Quran as he spoke, reinforcing the gravity of his words. He further reiterated his stance, stating that although his physical presence might cease, the truth remains steadfast. He affirmed that Imran Khan never incited violence against private or public institutions.
