This purse contained a substantial sum of Rs144,000, four gold rings valued in hundreds of thousands, an ATM card, and an identity card. The oversight prompted a diligent response from Railways Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Idrees, who was on duty at Chaklala railway station.
ASI Idrees took possession of the purse and initiated efforts to locate its rightful owner. He successfully tracked down the passenger, Bushra, by using the contact number listed on a medical prescription found within the purse. After verifying her identity, the valuable purse was securely returned to Bushra's son.
Upon the return of her precious belongings, Bushra expressed her gratitude to the railways police personnel for their outstanding honesty and commendable initiative.
