Killers leave bloodied body on the street

Unidentified assailants shot and killed a 17-year-old youth near the Misrial Road area within the limits of Naseerabad police station Wednesday.

Police registered a case of murder against unknown suspects and handed over the body to its legal heirs after completing formalities.

According to sources, residents intimated to the police that a blood-drenched body of an unknown youth was lying in the street. As soon as the incident was reported, the police arrived at the spot, took the body into custody and shifted it to a hospital where the deceased was identified as Humayun Fazal.

The police said the cause of the murder and the culprits could not be traced.
