After a meeting with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House in Lahore, several political leaders hailing from Layyah joined the party on Thursday.
Many politicians joined the PPP ranks, including former Member of the National Assembly (MNA) and former District Council member Sardar Ghulam Fareed Mirani, UC Chairman Hashim Khan, and Punjab’s former member of provincial assembly (MPA) Syed Fazal Shah Gilani's son Syed Mehdi Hussain Gilani.
On this occasion, PPP South Punjab President Makhdoom Syed Ahmed Mahmood, his son Makhdoom Syed Murtaza Mehmood, PPP Layyah District General Secretary Muhammad Shafiq Ahmed Khan, Abdul Qadir Shahin, and PPP ticket holder for NA-182 Muhammad Ramzan Jat Bhallar were also present.
