Security guard ‘tortured to death’

To avenge an old grudge, five people allegedly tortured and killed a security guard on Tuesday. They reportedly staged the crime scene as a suicide by hanging his body from a tree.

Police said Mohammad Abbas, a Chak 425 GB resident, filed a case alleging that his brother, 45-year-old security guard Zulfiqar Ali, was tortured and killed by five accused, including Ansar, in order to avenge an old grudge. Abbas further accused the suspects of hanging his slain brother’s body from a tree to stage the incident as a suicide.

City Tandlianwala police handed over the victim’s body to his relatives and registered a case under the provisions of murder against the named accused and started raids for their arrest.
