Swara Bhasker took to her Instagram profile yesterday to share the news of her daughter’s birth with her 1 M followers. In the Instagram post, she included five pictures—three of which were from her stay at the hospital following the birth and two were portraits of the new and tiny family of three.

Underneath the picture carousel post, the Veere Di Wedding actor wrote: “A prayer heard, a blessing granted, a song whispered, a mystic truth,” expressing her gratitude for, awe of, and love for the immense blessing that she had been endowed with.

She also shared with followers and fans details of her daughter’s name and birthday, writing “Our baby girl Raabiyaa was born on 23rd September 2023”.

“With grateful and happy hearts, thank you for your love! It’s a whole new world,” added the Rashbhari star at the end, thanking people for all the love she had received throughout her journey to becoming a mother and again sharing how happy and thankful she was for her little bundle of joy.

Swara and Fahad had a court marriage under the Special Marriage Act in January of this year as the two belong to different faiths and neither wished to convert for the sake of their religious union. Although the couple were legally married, Swara only officially announced their marriage a month later, in February, via a post on X (formerly Twitter). The months of February and March saw the couple celebrate their wedding with friends and family in a number of colourful events taken from the religious traditions of both the bride and the groom.

The pair announced their pregnancy back in June with a sweet post featuring the duo in an embrace and Swara sporting a small but visible baby bump.
