Two cops injured in van crash

A police pursuit of robbers met an accident when their van collided with a tree, resulting in injuries to two officers.

The incident occurred shortly after a group of robbers on motorcycles committed a robbery near Rang Shah.

The police team chased the suspects to apprehend them, but during the pursuit, their police van met with an accident.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Zubair and Constable Abu Sufyan sustained injuries as a result of the collision. Both injured officers were transported to a local hospital for immediate medical treatment.

Pakpattan District Police Officer (DPO) Tariq Wilayat visited the hospital to inquire after personally check on the injured officers and issued clear directives for the expedited arrest of the fleeing robbers within the next 24 hours.

The Rang Shah Police Station has been actively engaged in tracking down and bringing the suspects to justice.

Meanwhile, in an attempt to promote road safety and emphasise the importance of obtaining a valid driving licence, the local police conducted an informative session at a girls' college.
