The Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Nong Rong stated that mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Pakistan will help improve the quality of life of all Pakistanis, including those residing in the Balochistan province.
During a meeting the Balochistan press corps, the Chinese diplomat described China and Pakistan's relationship as that of “ironclad friends” who always support and stand by each other in times of difficulty and otherwise.
”China attaches great importance to the high-quality development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and is willing to deepen industrial cooperation with Pakistan and accelerate the implementation of livelihood projects,” he said.
Rong noted the significant progress at Gwadar Port and encouraged the media to cover these developments. He stressed creating a secure and predictable business environment to foster development and security.
The visiting Balochistan press corps acknowledged the consensus in Pakistan regarding its friendship with China. They pointed out that projects like Gwadar Port, roads, hospitals, and schools have improved regional connectivity and created job opportunities.
They expressed hope for continued Chinese support in Balochistan's development and offered to bridge the information gap between Balochistan and China to strengthen China-Pakistan relations.
