A married woman was allegedly raped, police said.

The police started raids to find the accused after registering a case.

According to the police report, the victim, a resident of Chak No. 471/GB, had registered a case with police which stated that she had been going to the market from home when suspects Akhtar and four others allegedly kidnapped her at gunpoint.

The complainant alleged that the suspects took her to an unknown location where the suspect Akhtar raped her at gunpoint. The police registered a case under the provisions of Sections 496A and 376 of the PPC and started raids for the suspects.

Meanwhile, two brothers, one 12 years old and the other eight, were allegedly molested by three suspects in Chak No.195/GB in Mureedwala. The police registered a case and started raids for the suspects.
