As Shah Rukh Khan’s film, Jawan, continues to enjoy record-breaking success at the box office, many critics and celebrities alike have come forward to express their awe of Shah Rukh Khan's on-screen presence and praise his acting. The latest to comment on King Khan’s success post-Jawan is Pakistani musician and actor Ali Zafar.

Zafar took to his X (formerly Twitter) profile on September 14 to share his perspective on why King Khan continues to reign supreme at the box office with one blockbuster hit after another.

“My personal observation about Shah Rukh Khan. He has a lot more to offer in his heart and being than the world has seen. Blockbusters are just the tip of the iceberg. They don’t define him. His intellect and experience do,” tweeted the Mere Brother Ki Dulhan actor, collecting 12,800 likes and 1600 retweets from his 3.2 million followers and other Twitter users.

As a contemporary of Khan in both the profession of acting and Bollywood, the Dear Zindagi star appears to understand the importance of one’s public persona in determining their success and star power in a field that heavily relies on the public’s viewership, approval, and love.

The Larsha Pekhawar singer believes that SRK’s well-deserved, decades-strong reign over Bollywood has as much to do with his strong personality, wisdom, and lived experiences as it does with his high-grossing films.

On Friday, production house Red Chillies Entertainment announced on X that Jawan had accumulated a whopping INR696 crores at the box office so far. The high-octane action thriller, directed by Atlee Kumar and also starring Telugu film stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, is set to amass even more earnings and break additional records as it enters its second week of cinematic release.
