Premium users on X, formerly Twitter, can now hide their likes from public by making the tab disappear completely. The new feature can be enabled through preference settings.

The feature seems to be aimed at getting new patrons to join the premium subscription of X, especially when the company's advertising revenue has declined 60% in the US. X CEO, Elon Musk, appeals to users who don't want their followers judging them on their tweet likes.

Premium subscription costs $8/month or $84/year granting users early access to new features and the accessibility to get a verified blue check.
